What is the use of an x-ray collimator? It is used to simulate X-rays and convert invisible X-rays into visible light. The x-ray collimator uses a lead plate with an adjustable gap to shield the unnecessary original emission line from the window, thereby controlling the size of the beam and changing the actual X-ray irradiation field.
