The principle and method of the collimator

The X-ray generating device of the collimator is mainly composed of a high-voltage generator, a bulb and a condenser. The condenser is usually placed under the bulb, and the X-rays emitted by the bulb will irradiate the object to be inspected by the beam limiter. The role of the collimator is to limit the range of X-rays emitted from it. The collimator usually includes a housing, a positioning lamp, a reflecting lens and an opening stop structure, and the positioning lamp, a reflecting lens and an opening limiting structure are installed in the housing.
After the positioning lamp of the collimator is energized, the emitted visible light is reflected by the reflective lens, and is emitted from the cylindrical opening and irradiated to the object to be inspected (that is, the part of the patient to be inspected). The irradiation position of the collimator corresponds to the position where the X-ray is irradiated on the inspection object, thereby realizing the positioning of the X-ray irradiation area.
We at Newheek specialize in producing all kinds of X-ray machines and beam beams used in X-ray machines. If necessary, please come to consult.
