The customer asks what the lead leaf looks like, is it completely closed or does it have a certain gap? Reply to the customer The lead leaf is optional, there is one layer, and the lead leaf control is mainly manual control.
Some manual beam limiters are also called simple beam limiters. There are two types of simple beam limiters: shading plate type and shading cylinder type. The shading plate type is to install a lead plate with a square or circular hole of a certain size on the X-tube sleeve window, and the opening of the lead plate is symmetric with the center of the X-ray. When performing projection, an irradiation field suitable for the size of the hole can be obtained at a certain distance. Generally, an X-ray machine is equipped with multiple shading plates with different apertures, and the size of the irradiation field at the corresponding distance is indicated on it for selection. The shape of the shading tube beam limiter is a conical metal tube, and some are also lined with thin lead sheets to increase the protective effect. When projecting, it mainly depends on the blocking and absorption of X-rays by the cylinder wall to limit the irradiation field. Therefore, the size of the irradiation field can be determined by the length and diameter of the shading cylinder, and the irradiation field is generally circular.
