X-ray Collimator

X-ray Collimator can also be called a beam limiter, is an electromechanical optical device installed in front of the output window of the X-ray tube assembly sleeve. Its main function is to control the radiation field of the X-ray tube output line, so as to minimize the projection range and avoid unnecessary doses on the premise of satisfying X-ray imaging and diagnosis, and to absorb some scattered rays to improve the image clarity.

The manual X-ray Collimator produced by Newheek is mostly used in photography. The opening and closing of the lead leaf of the X-ray Collimator is realized by manually adjusting the knob or pulling rod on the beam limiter.

Newheek’s 3 models X-ray Collimator are basically suitable for various X-ray machines.
