X-ray collimator system is an accessory part of X-ray inspection equipment. It is mainly used for positioning and simulating the radiation area of X-ray. It can reduce the radiation dose of patients and enhance the image quality.

The size of the blade opening of the X-ray collimator system, namely the size of the blade opening, determines the projection range of the outgoing X-ray.
The excess ray emitted from the X-ray tube beyond the scope of the blade opening will be absorbed and blocked by the blade instead of being emitted.
