Core Component Wear: The internal lead and tungsten light-shielding blades will experience slight wear and jamming after long-term high-frequency opening and closing, which directly affects the adjustment accuracy of the radiation field.
Aging of Light Positioning System: The brightness of the positioning bulb attenuates after long-term use. When the average illumination brightness at the center is lower than 100Lux, it cannot meet the clinical positioning requirements, and the component needs to be replaced.
Usage Frequency and Environment: When used for high-frequency on-site visits of mobile DR and in complex field environments, the aging speed of components will be significantly accelerated.
Daily Maintenance Status: Regular cleaning and lubrication of the adjustment structure can greatly extend the stable operation duration of the equipment.
However, when problems such as radiation field deviation, light leakage, and light positioning failure occur and cannot be repaired through debugging, the collimator must be replaced in time even if it has not reached the expected service life, so as to avoid non-compliant radiation protection.
