Recently, a customer asked us about our collimator, but the customer was asking for a friend and didn’t know much about the product itself, so he explained to the customer.
X-ray collimators work on the principle that X-rays are radiated from the focal point of the X-ray tube to the surrounding area. For maximum practical range, use an x-ray collimator to control the window. x-ray collimators use adjustable lead plates to block unwanted primary radiation from the window, thus controlling the beam size and changing the actual x-ray exposure field.
