The role of the DR beam limiter What is the role of the DR beam limiter?

The beam limiter uses lead plates with adjustable gaps to block unnecessary primary radiation emitted from the window, thereby controlling the beam size and changing the actual X-ray irradiation field. The relationship between the focal point, lead plate, and irradiation field is A/B = a/b: A is the distance from the focal point to the lead plate; B is the distance from the focal point to the imaging surface; a represents the degree of lead leaf opening; and b represents the size of the irradiation field.

A brief introduction to our beam limiter.
