X-ray collimator is an important equipment for X-ray imaging. The main function is to control the radiation field of the output line of the X-ray bulb tube under the premise of meeting the X-ray imaging diagnosis, so as to minimize the projection range, avoid unnecessary dose, and absorb some scattered light to improve the image clarity.

The collimator is installed in the optical electromechanical device of the output window of the tube sleeve of the X-ray tube assembly. In addition, the X-ray collimator can also indicate the size of the projection center and the projection field of view.
