Some customers inquire about buying our X-ray collimator. After contacting, the customer is a distributor and would like to know the product knowledge of the X-ray collimator first.
So what is the X-ray collimator? The X-ray collimator is a device installed in the output window of the X-ray tube assembly. Its main function is to control the X-ray output field of the X-ray tube to satisfy X-ray imaging diagnosis and projection. Try to absorb some scattered light to reduce unnecessary dose and improve image clarity.
The X-ray collimator has the ability to continuously adjust the radiation field and is used for medical diagnosis of X-rays. It is widely used in various X-ray equipment. Mainly used for portable X-ray machines or mobile X-ray machines. It can also be used for ordinary photography or fluoroscopy X-ray cameras. Its AC voltage is 12 volts. The distance between the focal point of the X-ray tube and the mounting surface is approximately 40 mm.
The X-ray collimator also has a shielding plate. The shielding plate is a lead plate with a certain size of square or round hole installed in the X-ray tube window. The opening of the lead plate is centered on the X-ray center. When taking X-ray photographs, an irradiation field suitable for the size of the hole can be obtained at a certain distance. Generally, an x-ray machine is equipped with multiple shields with different apertures, and the size of the irradiation field of the corresponding distance is indicated on the top.
