Collimators used in DR

The beam light device is also called the beam limiter and the collimator. It is an important accessory of the X-ray machine. It is installed under the tube of the X-ray machine to limit the irradiation range of X-rays and reduce the scattering of X-rays. The beam light device is divided into three types according to the operation: manual, electric and fully automatic.
When the switch of the collimator is turned on, a beam of light will be emitted, and the place where the light irradiates is the irradiation range of X-rays, that is, the place where we need to take a film for inspection, so the beam light device also has the function of positioning. We change the size of the X-ray irradiation field by adjusting the lead leaves of the output window of the collimator. At the same time, the collimator itself has a filtering effect on X-rays, thereby reducing the emission of stray rays and reducing the X-ray radiation received by operating doctors and patients.
Our company has different styles of collimators, which can meet the supporting use of fixed, mobile and portable X-ray machines, or the replacement of damaged collimators. Customers can choose the appropriate collimator style according to the size of the tube current.
