Classification of our Newheek collimators

Collimator is an electromechanical optical device installed in the output window of the tube sleeve of the X-ray tube assembly. Its main function is to control the radiation field of the output line of the X-ray bulb tube on the premise of meeting the X-ray imaging diagnosis, so as to reduce the projection range and avoid unnecessary dose. And it can absorb some scattered light to improve the image clarity. In addition, it can also indicate the projection center and the size of the projection field of view. Therefore, beam is an indispensable auxiliary device for X-ray irradiation and protection.
The collimator is mainly connected with the ball tube, and its main function is to position during positioning, simulate the radiation area of X-ray, which can reduce the radiation dose of patients and enhance the image quality.
The collimator of our company is divided into by manual and by electric . The electric collilmator is mostly used for dynamic fluoroscopy, such as remote control gastrointestinal machine. The manual collimator is more suitable for photography. The opening and closing activities of the collimator covering the lead leaf can be realized by manually adjusting the knob or pull rod on the beam limiter. Its internal structure is also equipped with a lighting field indication system.
