X ray collimator lead leaf opening and closing drive

With the development of X-ray machine, X-ray collimator develops from simple to complex in structure and from single to multi-purpose in function.
According to the driving mode of lead leaf opening and closing of beam limiter, it can be divided into manual X ray collimator, electric X ray collimator and full automatic X ray collimator.

The opening and closing of electric collimator lead blade is usually driven by a miniature DC motor. By properly controlling the forward and reverse time of the DC motor, the irradiation field can be adjusted to the required size. The adjustment of electric collimator irradiation field is not only carried out on collimator, but also controlled on the operating table beside the bed. The latter can be adjusted continuously.

Besides, there are various fixed size irradiation field selection buttons. As long as these buttons are pressed, the motor drives the lead leaf to move to the selected irradiation field and fixes it to meet the specific requirements of radiography. Limit switch is installed at the closing and maximum opening position of lead leaf for motor operation, and automatic limit protection is provided.
