X ray collimator for X-ray detectors

Ralco collimator is a popular product of Newheek. We process refractory metals such as tungsten, molybdenum and tungsten heavy alloys Densimet #6 to produce high-precision collimators for X–ray ralco collimator. They absorb scattered radiation, thus helping to ensure extremely high image quality.

Because of its high density and excellent X–ray absorption, our materials are more suitable for this task than any other element in the periodic table. We use special flat foil with thickness ranging from 20 to 200 um to make our collimator.

The collimator for X–ray ralco collimator has developed a particularly effective near-net shape manufacturing process in addition to the traditional rolling process for producing foil for one-dimensional collimator. This is especially suitable for the production of very thin Densimet foil. Compared with tape casting technology, our technology guarantees extremely flat surface with little thickness fluctuation.
