The opening and closing process of the shielding lead leaf of the manual x ray collimator radiography is realized by manually adjusting the knob on the beam limiter.
Manual x ray collimator radiography uses LED lamp to simulate X-ray, instead of X-ray, it determines X-ray path through visible light path, and then reflects X-ray onto the bed through the reflector of the beam limiter. So the light of the LED lamp can predetermine the size of the illumination field.
Mirrors are usually made of silver-plated plastic with an aluminium equivalent of about 0.5mm, which will not affect X-ray imaging. In front of the x ray collimator radiography is also a clean and transparent plastic plate with black lines or black dots inscribed to indicate the center of the radiation field.
The x ray collimator radiography is marked with the size of the irradiation field with the corresponding focal length around the knob. The irradiation field of the indicator can be pre-set so that the size of the irradiation field can be adjusted quickly and the service life of the indicator can be prolonged after the indicator light is lit.
