Types of collimator for portable x-ray machine

The x ray collimator for portable x-ray machine is an electromechanical optical device installed in front of the output window of the tube sleeve of the X-ray tube assembly. Its main function is to control the radiation field of the output ray of the X-ray tube, so as to minimize the projection range and avoid unnecessary dose, and to absorb some scattered rays to improve the image clarity on the premise of satisfying the X-ray imaging and diagnosis. The collimator for portable x-ray machine include manual beam limiters, electric beam limiters and automatic beam limiters.
Generally, the collimator for portable x-ray machine is 125 KV. Newheek has two 125 KV beam limiters. NK103 is small in size and light in weight. It is more suitable for small portable X-ray machine.
