Is the manual x ray collimator easy to operate?

The opening and closing process of the occlusion lead leaf of the manual x ray collimator is realized by manually adjusting the knob on the limiter. The electric beam limiter is controlled by remote control, which is the main difference.

The manual x ray collimator simulates X-rays using LED lights instead of X-rays to determine the X-ray path through the visible light path, and then through the reflection of the mirror in the beam limiter, the X-rays are reflected onto the bed surface. Therefore, the light of the LED lamp can pre-determine the size of the illumination field.
The mirrors are typically made of silver-plated plastic with an aluminum equivalent of about 0.5 mm and do not affect X-ray imaging. There is also a clean, transparent plastic plate in front of the beam limiter with black lines or black dots on the plate to indicate the center of the beam.
The manual x ray collimator is marked with the size of the illumination field corresponding to the focal length of the knob. The indicator illumination field can be preset in order to adjust the illumination field to lengthen the life of the indicator light after the indicator light is turned on.
