Can the X-ray machine not be equipped with a collimator?

This is because X-ray imaging in some industrial production fields is mainly for detecting hidden problems in objects, rather than performing fine detection to obtain the final imaging results.
To sum up, in some cases, the X-ray machine can indeed perform imaging without using a beam limiter, but from the perspective of detection efficiency and accuracy, it will be more advantageous to use a beamer.
